O Holy Night

Joyeux Noel - Merry Christmas
Colossians 1:15,19-20
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
       O Holy Night is inarguably the best Christmas Psalm ever written. It is so poignant and singable, dramatic and worshipful and lends itself to recording in almost every musical genre. It's so good to me that I sing it, and a few others, all year long! And the scripturally sound truth of it's lyrics ring out in my soul...Fall On YOUR KNEES...
       That was the response of the Shepherds and WiseMen, Kings. That will be the response of every living soul, EVER, when He comes back once and for all. What is your response TODAY?
       Jesus birth is magnificent but it is NOT a FINITE "event!" It was the MIDDLE of God's plan to rescue us ALL from SIN and to provide a bridge to that we cross over from eternal Death to ETERNAL LIFE. That bridge IS His Son Jesus. O that I might know Him and be known by Him ALL my Days. And this I pray for you!

France News 2: Team Brie is not only a partnership between United World Mission and France Mission, the supporting agency for the Pastor, Lorenzo (and his wife Mary-Alice) Monge. Several other churches in the US have recognized and prayerfully support this church plant. One of those churches is Northpoint. They have pledged resources and training. Today I opened my most exciting gift...an invitation to join the Leadership of Brie Church at DRIVE this Spring March 28-30, 2011. For info about DRIVE click here

       This is yet another unforseen outstretched hand reminding me not only to trust God but that I am unable to anticipate anything half as good as what He plans!!! Still aiming for February 9th 2011 to depart Myrtle Beach for final training and then the field!

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in Sin and Error Pining.
Till He appeared and the Soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

  1. Sometimes life gives us a glimpse of something so incredibly beautiful, that it is beyond the power of words to describe, something so wonderful and so exquisite, that all we can do is let our emotions and our hearts express what words cannot. The result is goosebumps and rivers of joyful tears. This is the voice and beauty of Jackie Evancho. In this wonderful Christmas CD Jackie gives us a little glimpse of Heaven as she sings "O Holy Night" in a voice so pure and clear it is like fine crystal. Her rendition is the best I have ever heard, and I predict that it will be broadcast and played in homes all across America this Holiday season. Just four tracks and a DVD of her previous appearances, but it is not to be missed. I highly recommend it.
