Mon 6.21 Glorious
Mon 6.21 Glorious
2 Cor 3:18 And we,who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
These words from Wordsworth have been echoing in my head alongside this passage from 2 Cor 3. Our souls call out to the one who crafted them and recognize in Him their home.
Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home:
Heaven lies about us in our infancy.
William Wordsworth
